A second Christmas during the Owens’ farmhouse renovation is fast approaching, and Amanda and the kids are preparing their farm animals and pets for the cold weather. Richard is keen to get doors fitted so that the house is protected from the elements, while Amanda and her daughter Clemmie meet historian Derek to walk in the footsteps of Anty John’s former occupant, diarist Anthony Clarkson.
